Peel 1-2 large onions and separate into rings,
Using 1kg of baby potatoes slice into thin discs,
In a large deep oven proof dish place a layer of potato slices and then add a layer of the onion rings on top spreading them equally across the potatoes.
Add salt and pepper, create as many layers as possible,
Once done, pour 200ml of cream over the completed dish.
Place 100g of grated cheddar cheese on top and bake at 180°C for
